Pictures

We have just uploaded a bunch of pictures of the Tucker Bayou house that Southern Living did. We ended up uploading them top Flickr, but made it a public folder so everyone could see them. If you haven't pick up on the fact that we are trying to copy everything that they did, well then you just haven't been paying attention. So hopefully this is what our house will look like when it is done.

Hi Buuba and Moose,

My husband and I live in Savannah, Ga. and we're interested in buidling the Tucker Bayou from Haven Homes. We've met with them and received a quote, which seemed much higher than we imagined it would be - $600.000-$625.000. That price does not include the cost of the lot. Around here lots are anywhere from $88,000-$150.000

At any rate, I was hoping you all could give us an estimate as to your project's final number. It looks like you all made some great decisions about your home. We love the stone foundation.

Thank you!

My husband and I live in Maine and are interested in the Tucker Bayou as well. I first saw the picture in my Better Homes and Gardens magazine and I'm in love with this house! I have had it displayed on my fridge for almost a year now, and I finally decided to do more research and came across your blog. I had no idea that this house would cost $600.000+ we are still 3-5 years away from building, but we do already own the lot on a nice pond. Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated, and keep the pictures coming, I'm really enjoying them!

Congrats on the new home!
